Megan and Jonathan’s wedding day is a special one for me and one that hit harder than I could’ve ever expected. Megan and I both lost our fathers in the same year. A loss that leaves you so empty hearted. Megan’s father unexpectedly passing just a few weeks shy of her big day… This day, we held in a lot of tears, with lumps in our throats.
The day started with Megan and her girls getting ready in the cozy BnB Domaine Chardonnay offers its wedding guests. With the most talented hair and makeup team we can give Taylor and Kaelyn a major shout out here! Followed by some hugs and spraying champagne on the patio before hoping over the boys getting ready. Megan and Jonathan opted in for a first look as well as reading their vows privately to one another. Another part of the day I would like to note is that I had a wet camera after Megan’s brother read the speech her father had started in front of their guests… throat lumps, I’ll tell you. A very beautiful and very special day. It was truly nothing shy of an honor to be apart of their wedding.
